THINKING OF BRINGING YOUR PARTNER?
“Before the event, I asked my partner if she wanted a social ticket and she was hesitant—past events never really felt welcoming, and weren’t really her scene. But after the first dinner reception she had such a great time that she didn’t want to leave. Afterward she said, ‘Maybe we should get that social ticket.’ Its true testament to how warm and welcoming this event is.”

What should I wear?
Layers are your best friend
The ballroom temperatures can vary depending on where you’re sitting — it might feel warm in one spot and chilly in another. We recommend dressing in comfortable layers that are easy to adjust throughout the day. (We’ve even joked about bringing office blankets… but seriously, layers are key!)
Be outdoor-ready
On Sunday, we’ll head outside for a nature walk and s’mores, so bring boots or sturdy footwear and outerwear suitable for Alberta mountain weather. It can be cold and snowy this time of year — even if the sun is shining.
Business casual is the norm
Throughout the summit, you’ll see everything from jeans and sweaters to dresses and full suits. Most attendees stick to business casual — but wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable.
Gala night calls for a step up
For the Monday evening gala, many guests choose to dress up a bit more — think smart cocktail attire, sport coats, dresses, or whatever makes you feel great for a celebratory evening.
Pro Tip: If you’re a cold person, don’t be afraid to throw a blanket scarf or cozy sweater into your suitcase. It’s better to have it and not need it!
